My Views about Internet-Arthur

20 years ago, it was said that the world in 21th century would become an informationlized community, people should get three new skills including driving，speaking English and using computer. At that time，‘using computer’was how to employ the Internet。
20 years past，citizens have gradually realized (step by step) that the Internet has played an important role in our lives. Internet brings more and more, bigger and bigger changes to our lives. In the past, you had to spend much time to gather information and news which you wanted. But now，you can just find them in several seconds when you enter some keywords in the search engine. Over the past few centuries，we chose hand-writing as the only method to communicate with others. But now，most of us can keep in touch with others by E-mail，QQ or Wechat，and even prefer to make payment online.
Companies get more and more benefits from the wide application of computer and internet technology. It saves much cost and energy，which are all unnecessary，and reduces some artificial mistakes. That is why more and more computers replace human’s roles.
Time has witnessed many business empires built around us，those who were first involved in internet have became the winners in China’s economy，a great number of corporations，such as Alibaba，Tencent，HUAWEI，have developed into a worldwide business. Predictably that，internet and network technology will get a better development，especially，after Premier Li Keqiang announced Chinese government would carry out a new plan named“互联网+”in 2015.
Though the development of network benefit all aspects of our lives，it also brings us a lot of drawbacks. We became lazier and lazier with the help of internet， we preferred to spend more time on playing PC games rather than enjoying our lives with our family. The wonderful feeling when reading the letters from our lovers and friends were disappeared，only the pale words left on the screen.
On the other hand，internet provide the soil for crimes. It is much more difficult for us to detect those crimes like theft and fraud online. To be ironic，we still learn those cases by it.
In addition to that，pornographic culture was developed by internet. As we all know，the pornographic culture can not only influence people’s healthy and psychological development，but also put them in danger of pornographic Indulgence，particularly for teens and young adults.
Above all, internet is a double-edged sword. We should regard and use internet correctly. The question we ask today is not whether we should encourage or forbid using it, but how to use it.

Internet and my life
Although I'm not familiar with Internet. But I still want to tell you something about it. So I've made a research for you.
Internet brings us many benefits to our life. We can know all kinds of information, news and knowledge online at first time.
But there is still some defects about it. Using the cell phones, computers or any other digital products for a long time is not good for both our eyes and our brain. It's true that Internet changes our mode of thinking. It's very popular for us to read books, listen to the music or browse some interesting websites online. We can also recieve e-mails and messeges from the people who live far away in a short time. It's very convenient for us to take some online lessons and training courses if we want to learn some foreign languages or other subjects.
Some people believe that Internet can not only open our mind but also enable us to learn languages from other countries. Besides,we can easily get in touch with some famous and excellent professors abroad and learn a lot from their researches online. We can know more about the history and culture of the foreign countries. As far as I'm concerned, one of the anvantages that Internet brought to us is asking whatever question we want to know from anybody.
And we just need to wait for a short time to get a reply. After this we can also exchange our ideas with one another and improve our abilities. I think the most popular thing nowadays is online shopping. Once we placed an order online, when the goods arrive, we will feel like recieving a present. And another good point is making friends with anybody you want. I've had an experience like that. I've made many friends since I have attended English classes online. Most of them are in China.
And defects are: not every websites are safe. Some of them are dangerous for people, especially for children, pupils etc... Because they include violence which shows us the ugly side of people and so on ...As we all know, the most important entertainment is games. Many young people are addicted to playing computer games. In this case, it's bad for thier body and mental health. What's more, playing computer games not only wastes their time but also their parents' money,which will let their parents down.
In the end, let me tell you my present situation. During these months, I've been watching animations from day to night. Now I feel very uncomfortable with my eyes, but I can't live without computer and cell phone. What should I do?

The Internet and Our Life
We know the Internet is playing a more and more important part in our daily life. On the Internet, we can get as much information as we can. Perhaps, in the past , we mainly got information from paper books , some of which were huge ones with thousands of pages .Today , with the invention of the computer and electronic technology , it's easy to get information on the Internet .The Internet is more powerful than books .We can send e-mails to our friends and talk to them as well. Besides,we can talk with people from all over the world and share our knowledge.For example , I take part in the network class , and we have “air” lessons by the computer. Our teachers are in Guangzhou, a city which is about hundreds of kilometres ,even thousands of kilometres away.
In the evening ,we go to our classroom at 8:00p.m. ,which ends at 10:00 pm around. We hand in our homework to our teacher by email or break through the barrier. They mark them in time .The Internet help us to get in touch with our teachers quickly and easily .We talk to our teachers through Internet. I like my teachers, and sometimes we can hear our teachers and classmates to sing singing a song .I know our teacher Diana is microphone king. She sings English very well, and she is a good singer. I will never learn from her if there is no Internet . Besides , on the Internet we can read books, enjoy music and watch ball games. We can also do shopping without leaving our homes. But many students spend too much time playing Internet games. They waste a lot of time. We must make good use of the Internet.
The Internet changed our life, and there is no doubt about that. There are many advantages of the Internet that show us the importance of this new medium. What I want to say is that Internet changed our life in a positive manner.
Nowadays this won't be a problem any more, you can do work by your computer at home, called tele-working. Moreover ,the internet is much cheaper than the real life, for example ,phoning to/with a friend in China costs more than to chat chatting with him or her on the Internet. Another important part is online game. We can play with people from all over the world and share our knowledge. In my opinion it's more exiting to play with friends than to play alone.
This makes our life easier and sometimes also cheaper. All in all ,I think that the internet is very useful to improve our life.
